logos: attempt I

double session of SEAL IT = nothing done.
home for 2 hours = two logos, one text edit.
I didnt save the text edit, because it didn't turn out the way I originally wanted it to. but these are my two logos (more like tags but shhhhh)

the font used for the first one is: BennyBlanco

the font used on the second one is: Vanessa.

the second only had limited things edited, like the skull, butterfly and star, making it so that it will fit to my colour theme while also personalising it. More stuff on the way. Just not now because I'm sick of Inkscape for one day.

Inkscape

I made a logo sorta thing. It's really simple and short.
I also made a banner for my youtube. the background was inspired by Paramore's "RIOT" album cover and yeah...

I played around with Inkscape for the last 30 minutes of class. I have decided to do a personal logo with "JessxMaree" instead of my usual shorter tag of "JxM"
I have nothing to show for what I've done today because it crashed, but Caitlin figured out a way to change the spectrums of colours at the bottom and found a whole load of settings in the "wave tool" (don't know the actual name)
I was playing around with shadows, offsetting a copy to make a shadow, or blurring a shadow to give it that sorta effect.
But yeah, that is all for today...

Dining Room: complete

The dining room, amd so far, the last room of my house has been completed. I don't feel right to call my sketch up a "house" because houses have bedrooms. This does not have bedrooms. Therefore, not a house.
The tables and chairs were made by me from stratch. I made one chair first (duh), then when I tried to select all the surfaces/sides to copy, it was almost imossible. So once all the sides were selected I made them a group or component (I can't remember) so the other 5 were easier to duplicate.
I imported the pictures on the walls, after editing them a bit on Picasa, and made squares around them and dragged them out from the wall to create a frame kinda thing....
All that is left to do now is the exterior of the house (which is already almost done) and the roof.

kitchen: complete

I finished the kitchen! It's an L-shaped kitchen in the middle of the bottom floor with an island bench. There are no handles because they have pull latches (the bits at the top of everything that goes back)
I used the inbuilt "get models" option for all the white-goods, then had to rotate and move them. The stools under the counter (picture 3) were made from scratch, using rectangles and push/pull. I made the legs components so that they were all the same.

 

bookcase finished

  I finally finished the bookcase in the lounge. All books were made by me, and that took ages, but it's finally done, I used the curve tool for the bind of thick encyclopedia type books at the top and throughout the shelves. 

interior design I

hai dere.

I did a rough interior design today because I got bored, using the tutorial because I couldn't be stuffed doing anything original. I made fancy windows (which I plan on using in my house) using the drag/offset tool. I call it the offset tool but I don't know if it's actually called that.

I also experimented with different paint thingo's. I changed the main colour of the brick on the right wall; originally they are a yucky sorta brown/grey I think. I likes it ^_^
